DESCRIPTION:We are excited to partner with Throw Pink for this event! Throw Pink is a non-profit that supports women’s health initiatives through disc golf events nationwide that encourage women and girls to get out and be more active. \nThis is both a fundraiser AND an event aimed at keeping costs low to encourage more teams to sign up and ultimately\, get more ladies involved in disc golf. Registration costs will cover player packs\, trophies\, and other tournament expenses (sanctioning agreement\, day of supplies\, etc). \nLet me know if needing help with registration cost. \nMixed team- male/female\nAll skill levels are welcome! \nWhen choosing a division\, team rating is based on the highest rated team member. \nPlayer packs:\n-Hoodie tee w/ tournament logo\n-Sponsor DryvBagz\n-Throw Pink pencil\n-Throw Pink sticker\n-Throw Pink wristband\n-$5 Throw Pink gift card\n-OTB Discs/ sponsor sticker\n-1 raffle ticket \nPlayers must register by 1/8/24 to ensure they will receive the requested size of the hoodie tee \n2 Rounds/ Shotgun start\nRound 1: Short tees\, best throw\nRound 2: Short tees\, best throw \nAs a XC-tier (CEP Charity- Unrated) event\, non member fees have been waived by the PDGA. \nWaiver:\nNO divisions (amateur or professional) will receive a payout. ALL divisions will receive a player pack. All money raised will be donated to Throw Pink! \nThis is a “True Amateur” event. The true spirit of organized amateur athletics is competing in a sport purely for the love of that sport and the act of competition itself. Trophies will be presented to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. First place trophies will be awarded to each division. Any divisions with 18 registered players will also be awarded second place trophies. Any divisions with 24 registered players will be awarded third place trophies.
