The registration fee of $15 will help change lives. There will be a $3 ace pool and the money raised will be donated to Gateway to Hope if no one gets an ace. There will be other exciting things going on too like a raffle and putting for tatas! Registration is open on Disc Golf Scene. \nPlease wear pink to help support Breast Cancer Awareness!

DESCRIPTION:Please join us on the beautiful Winthrop University campus on Sunday\, October 10th\, for Throw Pink’s 8th event in conjunction with the United States Disc Golf Championship and the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship. \nWomen and girls of all skill levels are welcome! \nIt all starts with a disc golf instructional clinic at 9 am that will get new players on their feet and refine the skills of those that have played before. Then\, a casual round will follow on a beginner-friendly 12 holes temporary course designed by Andrew Duvall\, the current USDGC and TPWDGC course designer. Everything will wrap up by noon. \nThe $20 fee includes \nA fun clinic hosted by some of the games’ top pro-women\,\nA round of disc golf\,\nSweet Throw Pink merchandise\nA charitable donation.\nIf you don’t have discs\, that’s not a problem. There will be plenty available to use during the event. Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes. \nPre-registration is required to attend. We will not be able to take on-site registration this year. Please arrive 15 minutes before 9 am to pick up your player pack so we can kick off the event promptly at 9 am

DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual Madness Disc Golf Tournament\, MADNESS V AT NLV presented by INNOVA will be held at the North Las Vegas Municipal Par 3 and Disc Golf course located at 324 East Brooks Avenue\, North Las Vegas\, Nevada 89030\, in conjunction with the City View Park located directly behind the Golf Course.\nThis will be a 2-day event\, with players playing one round per day via tee time.\nPlayers will play a modified 12-hole course inside the Golf Course and up to 8 (TBD) temp holes in the City View Park. The layout will be finalized and posted here by April 1\, 2022. Pin positions and temp tees will be marked the week before the event and baskets will be in place to practice the temp layout Friday morning April 29.\nThis year the event has been moved to NLV to accommodate the demand this event usually sees. The past 4 years have seen the event fill within minutes\, so a change of venue was needed. NLV filled that need and we are looking to expand our normal field of 100 to 200!! This is also a B-Tier event and PDGA membership will be required to register for the event! So if you haven’t please renew your PDGA! Let’s get ready for some Madness!!

It’s time to turn the lights out on cancer. \nYour entry fee includes: \n– Fun glow disc golf experience\n– Throw Pink Glow disc\n– Innova Glow Flashlight\,\n– Throw Pink Glow silicone bracelet\n– Throw Pink glow sticker\n– A chance to make a difference \nThis flex start event has tee times every ten minutes from 5:30 to 9:30. \nThe layout will be the original nine plus a couple of temp holes to extend the fun. More details coming soon. \nPlayers will have the chance to go around the course twice with their entry fee.\nYou will record each loop separately\, and we will take your best score for the leaderboard and award the divisional prizes. \nYou better make it good if you only have time for one loop. 🙂 \nThe ace pool is one big pool for all divisions\, but there will be separate ace prizes per division. \nThis event is for ALL Skill levels. If you sign up for a division below your skill level\, we will ask you to move up before teeing off to keep the fields as accurate as possible. \nPlease note the divisions are not based on the PDGA divisions. If you play disc golf regularly\, especially in events\, you should be in the professional and advanced divisions on this track. The Pro division at this event is not just for registered PDGA professional players. Also\, players who regularly shoot under par on this short track should sign up for professional or advanced. \nLet us know if you have any questions. We are still tweaking the best divisions for this and are open to suggestions for our next Lights Out On Cancer fundraising event.
