SUMMARY:Ladies Clinic at the USDGC
DESCRIPTION:Women and girls of all skill levels are welcome!\nThe Throw Pink Ladies Clinic all starts with a disc golf instructional clinic at 9 a.m that will get new players on their feet and refine the skills of those that have played before. A casual round will follow on the beginner-friendly 12 holes temporary course designed by Andrew Duvall\, the current USDGC course designer. Everything will wrap up by noon. \nThe $20 fee includes the clinic\, a round of disc golf\, a charitable donation\, a Throw Pink disc\, and more fun player pack items. \nIf you don’t have discs\, that’s not a problem. There will be plenty available to use during the event. Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes. \nPre-registration is required to attend. Here’s the link. Due to the Winthrop group size limitations\, we will not be able to take on-site registration this year. Please arrive a few minutes prior to 9 am so we can kick off the event promptly at 9 am. \n*Note: Address is to the Winthrop Coliseum. Parking will be by the Coliseum. The clinic and fun round will take place in the field across from the baseball stadium near the sand volleyball courts. Look for the pink tent!

SUMMARY:Disc Golf Clinic at Rozar Park (Ladies Only)
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for considering coming out to participate in middle Georgia’s 1st Throw Pink ladies disc golf event. This event is for any age female from youth to adult who would like to come out and give disc golf a try in a judgement free zone. The environment will be very laid back and it is sure to be great fellowship. If you have never played before\, we have some great staff that are will to teach you the basics of the game. If you have played before\, you can be an encouragement to those that are there to give it a try. The event will start at 9 a.m. by the covered pavilion at Rozar Park and will last roughly 2 hours (depending on the number of participants). Comfortable clothing and tennis shoes are recommended as you will be active throughout the morning.\nEvents include basic description about disc golf and its rules\, an overview of the discs you will be using\, how to throw/putt the disc as well as friendly competitions and a modified round of disc golf. We will be giving away some prizes as well as free raffle giveaways. I am working towards having a local coffee shop in attendance so stay tuned for more information on that. \nIf you have discs\, you are welcome to bring them\, however if you do not own any discs\, we will provide you with discs to use during the event. The event is FREE of charge\, however there are 4 different player’s pack options ($5\, $10\, $20\, $30) that you may register for if you so choose to. Descriptions of those packs are listed in the registration options portion of the Disc Golf United page (link in details section).
