DESCRIPTION:Please join us on the beautiful Winthrop University campus on Sunday\, October 10th\, for Throw Pink’s 8th event in conjunction with the United States Disc Golf Championship and the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship. \nWomen and girls of all skill levels are welcome! \nIt all starts with a disc golf instructional clinic at 9 am that will get new players on their feet and refine the skills of those that have played before. Then\, a casual round will follow on a beginner-friendly 12 holes temporary course designed by Andrew Duvall\, the current USDGC and TPWDGC course designer. Everything will wrap up by noon. \nThe $20 fee includes \nA fun clinic hosted by some of the games’ top pro-women\,\nA round of disc golf\,\nSweet Throw Pink merchandise\nA charitable donation.\nIf you don’t have discs\, that’s not a problem. There will be plenty available to use during the event. Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes. \nPre-registration is required to attend. DESCRIPTION:The 23rd Annual Lake Russell Open is sponsored by Dynamic Discs and the GSS Finale. Help us increase female participation and support women athletes by competing! This tournament is a C-Tier\, but may be bumped up to a B-Tier later.\nThe format is singles\, pool play. At minimum two rounds of 27 holes\, could be three rounds of 27. If the second course is complete\, two rounds of 18 (one on each course) and one round of 18 on day 2. \nAll Ladies will receive a free entry into the Pink Putts Challenge\, an exclusive Throw Pink event game. FA divisions & FP will have the option to add a Throw Pink Player Pack or opt-out of a player pack. There will be no NON PDGA fees for these divisions. 100% of ladies & Juniors will receive a payout. No minimum number to form a ladies or junior division\, but must have 4 to have a division-specific trophy. \nAll pre-registered MA participants will receive a Throw Pink Player Pack.\n4 players to form a division\nTrophies: 4-7 = 1st\, 8-11 = 1st & 2nd\, 12+ = 1st\, 2nd\, & 3rd (based on numbers as of 8/20) \nAnyone electing to “Support the Ladies” will receive a thank you item supplied by Throw Pink. \nCheck out the Lake Russell Open Facebook Group or learn more/register on Disc Golf Scene! \nWomen’s only registration is open.
