By working with impactful female leaders from various regions\, we will create memorable events on and off the course\, culminating each year with The WTF Open as the Tour Championship.” \nWelcome to the 32nd Annual Capitol of Texas Open\, a WOMENS ONLY -Tier\, part of the 2023 Wildflower Disc Golf Tour\, and a Throw Pink Championship qualifier! \nThis is a 3-round\, 3-day event with tee times on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday with an open-to-the-public Throw Pink disc golf party (5/6). Saturday night festivities at Zilker Brewing feature a World Champion/ Hall of Fame Des Reading beer release that supports Throw Pink and disc golf. Good beer\, good times\, GREAT CAUSE\, vendors\, and Throw Pink games will highlight the night. SUMMARY:Find Your Force: First Annual Women's Doubles
DESCRIPTION:Find Your Force is an unsanctioned\, one-round\, best-disc\, bring-your-own-partner\, women’s doubles event at Wickham Park on Saturday\, May 13th. This event is the 4th event in NEWDG’s Bay State Queen Series presented by East Coast Metal Roofing. \nWe encourage those who have never competed in a tournament to make this your first! On tournament day\, there will be a meeting just for you\, where we will run through some rules and etiquette that you may not be familiar with. \nPlease register your team for the division based on the higher rating of the two team members. For age-protected divisions\, there is no combined age; both players’ ages must fall in the range of the division. \nTeam entry fees:\n$55 for Amateurs\n$80 for PROs. \nAmateurs Players’ Pack will include choice of one Find Your Force Disc and one Find Your Force Mini (marker)\, perhaps a few other cherished DG related items. . \nAmateur players compete for awards/trophies.\nAward system:\nDivision with 1-3 teams: 1st place award\nDivision with 4-6 teams: 1st and 2nd place awards\nDivision with 7 or more teams: 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place awards \nPRO players will have cash payouts. \n22-hole layout will be finalized and announced by April 13th. All scoring for this event will be on UDisc. Cards will be pre-assigned. Play will follow PDGA rules and a Mini must be used to mark your lie (no flipping please). \nAce Pot: During Check-in on tournament day\, each player will have the option to buy into an Ace Pot for $5 (cash only). If no aces after 22 holes\, the Ace fund will go to Wickham Park. \nOptions offered only during registration:\nAmateurs- Team Mulligans (tee shot only) for $5 each (during registration); max of 2 per team. \nAll: Raffle tickets are 10 for $5. Raffle will be held after awards ceremony. \nAll: Distance Challenge: $10 for those individuals interested in staying beyond awards/raffle and joining a distance challenge (throw 5 discs each)\, with winner take all. Two pools AMs and PROs. \nAll: Tee Sponsorship is $25 for those interested in having their name or company name posted at a tee for the day. \n$5 from every amateur team’s fees go towards #AllAboutBirdies\, a 50/50 pot\, with half the fund awarded to the amateur team with the most total birdies; the other half of the fund will be donated to Audubon. Any tie will be resolved with a CTP (closest to the pin) throw off after awards/raffle. \nBalance of the proceeds from Find Your Force tournament will be divided between Breast Cancer Alliance and Wickham Park Disc Golf Fund. \nThis is a pay-to-park facility\, the parking fee is $10 per car. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact sherrysboyd@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Throw Pink Women's Team Championship
DESCRIPTION:This is a one-day\, two-round women’s team event in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The event is modeled after the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships format. Teams of four women will play two rounds of Team Doubles Play. \nWe have fun side games during lunch and after round two\, including our individual and team putting championship\, a new accuracy game\, and a few more fun activities. \nThis format generally runs fast\, and with it being a one-day two-round event\, we hope you can squeeze us into your 2023 schedule for the third annual Women’s Only Disc Golf Team event.
