History
This will be our Third Annual Throw Pink Team Women’s Championship, being held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. This event keeps growing year after year and we are so excited to keep the tradition alive for 2023! This championship will take place in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina at North Cove Disc Golf and Social Club in Marion, NC. 152 Women (38 teams) will come together for a one-day, two-round Team event based on the same format as the Collegiate Disc Golf National Championship.
Purpose
The purpose of the Throw Pink Women’s Team Championship is to provide an exceptional experience for women in disc golf to come together as a community and bond over this sport we all adore. Our goal is to have all of our participants making life long memories and sharing in the experience together through inclusion and love.

Come prepared to take pictures in our photo booth, be silly, enjoy the clubhouse accommodations, and browse all of the latest Throw Pink and Innova Discs merchandise!
We will also have side games and activities for you to compete in with prizes to win!
Friends and community
You will be meeting and getting reacquainted with all of your disc golf friends, as well as ladies from Women’s leagues all over the south east! A perfect setting to make new friends and reunite with those you know. Once again, 152 women will be coming together to celebrate and have a great disc golf weekend all together!
Format
It is an alternating shot type of team doubles format. One pair will always tee off on Odd, and one pair will always tee off on Even Holes. After the drive, it is the alternating best shot between the two pairs on a team. The Team with the lowest score after two rounds will be crowned the Women’s Team Champions!
